What’s Happening

In the event of winter weather, please check your email before heading out to church or Sunday School. Mother Meredith will decide by 6:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings if weather and driving conditions warrant cancelling some or all of our Sunday morning services, Forums and Sunday School. She will notify the Wardens and send a list-serve email. If you do not have easy access to email, call our Junior Warden, Rick Martinson, at 443-707-7454.

VESTRY ELECTIONS
Have you ever wondered how important decisions are made at St. Barnabas? Have you ever wanted to be directly involved in
the day-to-day, on-going activities of the church?
Well, now is your chance! St. Barnabas is looking for a “few good people” who want to get involved in the life of the church.
Three members of the Vestry- Megan Lewis, Rick Schneider and Jason McMahan, are rotating off the Vestry after 3 years.
One of the primary roles of the Vestry is to work with the Rector and Officers of St. Barnabas to manage the business of the
church, vote on the yearly budget and to help establish St. Barnabas’ identity in the community. Vestry members serve for 3
years and attend monthly meetings. There are 10 meetings each year with 2 months off during the summer. Vestry members
are expected to attend at least 7 of the meetings. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday and usually last approx 1-1.5 hours. If you
have any interest in learning more about the Vestry, please touch base with Mother Meredith, me or one of the Vestry
members.
