Adult Forum- Prayers of Adoration, Praise and Thanksgiving  During Advent the forum will take an introspective look at the various types of prayer, their purpose, and include time for prayer for one another.  This Sunday we will be learning about Prayers of Adoration, Praise, and Thanksgiving. Coffee and snacks are provided.  All are welcome to participate!

Volunteers needed for Christmas Eve Pageant   Volunteers are needed to help lead and direct the Christmas Pageant at our Christmas Eve Family Service.  We also need people of all ages to sign up for the various parts.  Please contact the Parish Office at 410-489-2800 or if you wish to help with this wonderful and fun family event.

 Springfield Hospital Center Holiday Wish List  St. Barnabas will be collecting items and gift cards for The Springfield Hospital Center in Sykesville to assist in their Holiday Wish List.  Items requested are new men’s and women’s clothing (sweat suits, jeans, t-shirts, leggings, pajamas, dresses, etc.), accessories (hats, gloves, slippers, wallets, purses), games (board games, playing cards, puzzle books) and personal care items (hair care products, bath products, dental supplies, nail care, Kleenex, etc.).  All items should be new and unwrapped.  Please drop off in the baskets at the back of the church or in the Parish Hall by Sunday December 15th.

 Poinsettias and Greens for Christmas  On December 22 after the 10am service, the Altar Guild will be decorating the church with greens and poinsettias. If you have time to stick around, after church, we would love to have your help. The cost of material is $547. We are also accepting donations in honor of or in memory of your loved ones. If you’d like to make a donation via check, please write Altar Guild Greens on the memo line. Please put any cash donations in a separate envelope marked “Altar Guild Greens.  Please include a list of those in honor/in memory of with your donation. Let me know of any questions.  Christmas Angel Tree  We are now starting our first Angel Tree project.  We are using this method to get Christmas presents for the children of the families that we support.  If you wish to participate, please take an angel from the tree, buy the gift, and return it to the church, unwrapped and with its angel tag, on December 15th.  Thank you for all your kindness to these families!

Vestry Meeting December 12, 2019 7 PM  This Tuesday December 12th the Vestry will be meeting at 7 PM in the Parish House. All are welcome to attend!

Help with Greening the Church- December 22nd  You are all cordially invited and encouraged to help with the Greening of the church this year. We will be meeting on Sunday December 22nd following the 10 AM service in the church. We need all ages to help us decorate the church for Christmas.
